District staff presented a draft three‑year comprehensive plan Monday night at the Central Valley Board of Education work session that centers academic programming on grades 6–12 English language arts, aims to raise regular attendance across the district and adds standardized communication protocols for families.
The plan, developed by a steering committee of administrators, teachers, parents, board representatives and community members, will be posted for a 28‑day review period and scheduled for a board vote in March. Staff said the packet will then be sent to the state for final sign‑off if approved by the board.
