The Burlington School Committee approved the minutes of its Jan. 28 meeting by voice vote at the start of the session. The motion to approve the minutes was moved and seconded, and the chair called the vote: "Aye" carried with a 5-0 tally.
Earlier in the opening minutes, members discussed wording and timing related to the long-term capital plan, noting that additional guidance and expanded dollar thresholds had been drafted to extend planning guidance to 20 years and that capital warrants would be reviewed at a subsequent meeting. Committee members clarified that they expected the long-term capital plan to come back with capital warrants at the next meeting.
The committee then proceeded to the student report and other agenda items.
