Commissioner Wagner appointed to Winter Park transit advisory committee and urban renewal authority

The Grand County Board of County Commissioners appointed Commissioner Wagner to the Winter Park Transit Advisory Committee and the Winter Park Urban Renewal Authority during the Jan. 14 meeting.
The board moved to appoint Wagner to the two positions; Wagner accepted the appointments and said he had previously been involved in stakeholder work that led to formation of the Winter Park transit authority and had already attended one meeting as a citizen. The board approved the appointment by voice vote; commissioners recorded "Aye."
Wagner told the board he was "willingly volunteer" for the two roles and noted prior involvement helping get enabling legislation passed for the Winter Park Transit Authority. The county attorney and staff confirmed the appointment and updated rosters accordingly.
Staff will notify the Winter Park bodies and provide contact information; Wagner will represent Grand County on both bodies going forward.
