The purchase included a five‑year extended warranty; the board amended the motion to specify a not‑to‑exceed amount of $85,017.58 and approved the purchase.
Why it matters: The equipment is the county’s primary compact loader for park maintenance and is expected to support vegetation management, snow removal, site preparation and other maintenance tasks. Staff said a $26,000 trade‑in allowance is included in pricing. The purchase will be executed using Sourcewell (a national cooperative purchasing program) rather than a local bid waiver because Sourcewell contracts are pre‑negotiated.
