Loudoun County planning commission approves multiple subdivision plats, site plans and rezones; tables one request

The Loudoun County Regional Planning Commission approved a slate of subdivision plats, commercial site plans and several rezoning requests at its meeting, and tabled one rezoning request for further review.

Commissioners voted to approve a five-lot subdivision for Michael Waller on Martell Road (5.25 acres), three-lot subdivisions for property owners William Kellum and Terry Patton (lot-line adjustments), and a site plan amendment for Roger Boring to add an approximately 709-square-foot commercial building to an existing industrial property. The commission also approved a commercial site plan for a cemetery use submitted by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Knoxville on North Shore Drive.

The commission approved multiple rezones from agricultural district classifications to smaller-lot residential districts, including a rezone from A-1 to A-3 for a property associated with Jonathan Mendoza and a rezone from A-1 to mixed A-2/A-3 for applicants Elizabeth and Tyler Barr.
