Kenosha utility renews industrial waste discharge permit for Eli Lilly

Eli Lilly was represented at the meeting by Justin Jensen, who said the company is planning an addition at its Pleasant Prairie site and expects only a small increase in discharge volume; he said makeup, pH and temperature will remain within the permit’s confines.
The applicant provided a business address on the record and offered to answer questions. Commissioners voted to renew the permit after a motion and second; the transcript shows recorded ayes and no opposition. The record did not list any new monitoring requirements or permit conditions beyond reissuing the permit to the new owner.
