Board hears multi-project updates: downtown sewer Phase 5A, long-term control plan and Route 19 review

For downtown sewer Phase 5A, staff said the first construction progress meeting was held last Thursday and no sewer construction activity had started; the contractor had begun waterline work near the guards and crews planned to begin sewer work in March. A second progress meeting is scheduled for March 6 at the field office.
On Phase 5B, staff said the plant project team received review comments about a week and a half earlier and is addressing them; staff expects to return the revised report by the end of the month and continue the review process. The Arlington Extension planning document is being finalized for submission to IGDC so the utility can apply for Army Corps funding. Route 19 critical-needs work has been submitted to the relevant reviewer (transcript: 'Della dot JDC') and staff hopes to hear back this month.
No formal board action was recorded on these project updates; staff scheduled follow-up meetings and indicated continued review and submittal work.
