Upper Darby board approves agenda, reports and multiple policy updates at Feb. 11 meeting

The Upper Darby School District Board of School Directors approved the previously posted agenda and a series of routine reports and personnel items during its Feb. 11 combined work session and regular meeting.

Board members approved the agenda by voice vote, adopted the minutes of the Jan. 14, 2025 combined meeting, and approved the secretary, treasurer, personnel, supplies, facilities, use-of-facilities, donation, finance and budget reports. The district reported there were no online public comments for most roll-call votes.

On policy matters, the board advanced three policies on first reading (005 — Organization; 200 — Enrollment of Students; 202 — Eligibility of Nonresident Students). The board also moved five policies from second reading to adoption: 6.10 (Purchases Subject to Bid/Quotation), 6.11 (Purchases Budgeted), 801 (Public Records), 807 (Opening Exercises/Moment of Silence/Flag Displays), and 823 (Opioid Antagonist).
