The nomination of Tanya Morcinco was listed under “advice and consent” and was referred to the Finance Committee for consideration and any required hearings. The resolution relative to 4 Sharp Drive was likewise referred to the appropriate committee for review, as indicated by the council during the meeting.
No debate or public comment on either item was recorded on the Jan. 13 special meeting minutes. The council recessed after completing routine business and adjourned the special session.
Procedurally, the referrals mean the Finance Committee and other relevant committee(s) will schedule separate review, public hearing, or vote on the nomination and the Sharp Drive resolution before the full council can act on final approval or rejection.
