The Seminole County Board of County Commissioners adopted an ordinance enacting a rezone for the Eagle Pass property from A‑1 agriculture to C‑3 heavy commercial and very light industrial to permit an office and self‑storage development on approximately 9.4 acres west of State Road 426 at Eagle Pass Road.
Staff review and recommendation Annie Silaway, senior planner, told the board the request is consistent with the county land development code (Chapter 30, Part 43), that the property has an industrial future land use designation allowing a floor area ratio of 0.65 and that the proposed C‑3 zoning requires 25% open space. Silaway said the Planning & Zoning Commission voted unanimously to recommend adoption and that public works had looked into drainage consultant concerns; no outstanding open objections remained.
Board action The district commissioner moved adoption of the ordinance enacting the rezone; the motion carried unanimously.
