Health services report: clinics recorded 79,193 student contacts in first semester

The team completed 4,573 vision screenings and administered or treated medications 33,989 times (examples cited included scheduled medications, inhalers and insulin‑related care). The report showed a combined 79,193 student contact visits for the first semester.
Board members noted the volume of documentation and parent communications tied to each health‑clinic contact and thanked health services staff for their daily work. Staff said they will bring policy updates related to health services and enrollment forms (for more specific allergy information) for future board consideration.
