Supporters told the committee the bill could expand access to treatments for people with treatment-resistant post-traumatic stress disorder and major depressive disorder. Lieutenant General Martin Steele, representing the Veteran Mental Health Leadership Coalition, said the therapies showed promise and urged passage. "I urge you to pass SB 10 42," Steele said.
