The Inglewood City Council returned to open session at 3:20 p.m. after a closed session that covered four items on the day's agenda, the City Attorney reported.
"Let the record reflect that the City Council recessed into closed session to discuss the 4 items posted on today's agenda. With respect to all the items, the city council received a briefing from staff in the city attorney's office. Feedback was provided, but no final action was taken in closed session," the City Attorney said.
Mayor Maum then closed the meeting "in the name of Shirley Cawthorn" and adjourned the council. The City Attorney's report indicated the closed session consisted of staff briefings and Council feedback rather than formal decisions or votes.
The transcript record shows no motions, votes, or formal directives resulting from the closed session. The return to open session and the report were brief; the meeting was adjourned shortly after the City Attorney's statement.
