Trent Baxter of Vershield Constructor Group told the commission the petitioner had not started construction and requested extra time because of economic conditions. Planning staff told the commission they had reviewed the file and had not heard from the petitioner recently, and that staff was supportive of granting the extension.
A commissioner moved to grant the petitioner’s request to extend the technical review committee approval for two additional years; another commissioner seconded. The motion carried on a 7-0 voice vote.
The extension preserves the petitioner’s approved site plan without further changes until the new expiration date. The commission did not attach additional conditions as part of the extension.
