At its Feb. 10 regular meeting the Beaufort County Council recorded the following formal actions and votes. Items below summarize each action taken on bills, resolutions and motions that had a recorded outcome in the meeting record.

1) Mitchellville appraisal and green-space payment - Action: Council accepted the Valbridge appraisal dated 02/04/2025 for the 26.46-acre Mitchellville parcel and authorized the county administrator to pay the Town of Hilton Head Island the appraised value from green-space sales-tax funds. - Outcome: Approved (unanimous). 2) Project Micro — multi-county industrial park and special source revenue credit (SSRC) - Ordinances: 2025/O-6 (place Project Micro land into an existing multi-county industrial park) and 2025/O-7 (authorize a special source revenue credit agreement with Project Micro). - Action: Council moved both ordinances at third reading, held public hearings previously; council approved the measures by voice/show-of-hands vote. - Outcome: Approved (unanimous at time of vote).

7) AllJoy Boat Landing improvements (resolution) - Action: Council approved a resolution defining AllJoy boat landing improvements and directed staff to proceed with community-informed next steps. - Outcome: Approved (unanimous by show of hands).

8) Lowcountry Council of Governments Safety Action Plan and Target 0 policy (resolution) - Action: Council adopted the LOCOG Safety Action Plan and Target 0 policy. - Outcome: Approved (unanimous by show of hands).

9) Settlement offer in Cheryl Mundy et al. v. Beaufort County (pending litigation) - Action: Following executive session, council voted to not accept the plaintiffs’ settlement offer dated Feb. 5, 2025, and authorized county counsel to forward the offer to the county’s insurer (SCIRF) and request the insurer’s consideration of the offer within 10 days. - Outcome: Approved (unanimous by show of hands).
