RHS seniors call senior night bittersweet and tell younger players to work hard

Seniors at RHS described senior night as bittersweet and urged younger teammates to focus on effort and school in short interviews recorded at the event.

Kev Cooling, a senior, said the evening would be positive and encouraged younger players to balance fun with effort: "It's gonna go great. Just go out there, have fun, and compete... Make sure you have fun, but also work hard and be determined at the same time." Kylie, also a senior, called the night "sad" because it was her last league game but said she hoped the team would win and advised underclassmen to "Don't give up on yourself and keep working hard." Tyshawn, another senior, described mixed emotions about the night and gave practical advice to underclassmen: "Just do your work. Focus on school. Don't focus on girls."

The interviews were brief and informal, conducted by student interviewers who identified themselves as Anthony, Tim and Sam. The recorded segment runs about one minute and captured three seniors offering encouragement and short reflections rather than detailed policy or program information.
