Matt, the Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado (AGNC) point person, told the board AGNC is managing several grants to gather technical, workforce and stakeholder data to inform local conversations. He said the work currently includes a National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) modeling grant, two Energy Communities Alliance (ECA) grants for stakeholder mapping and consent‑based siting outreach, and preliminary coordination with Idaho National Lab and other regional partners.
