Staff told commissioners the FY2025 budget for the event was about $26,000 and said some but not all of the recommended program changes could fit within a similar budget; prices for venues and services are rising. Commissioners expressed support for moving away from a single December event and asked staff to build options into the FY2026 budget process.
No formal vote was taken; staff will return with budget options and cost estimates.
