NIXA, Mo. — At its Feb. 11 meeting the Nixa City Council approved participation in a pooled investment program and confirmed multiple board and commission reappointments.
Finance Director Jennifer Evans presented the second reading of Council Bill 2025-03, which authorizes the city administrator to execute an amended and restated intergovernmental agreement to participate in the Missouri Securities Investment Program, a pooled investment vehicle for governments. "This council bill would allow us to enter into agreements with Missouri Securities Investment Program ... to afford us a higher interest rate," Evans said.
