Mitchell, a district staff member, presented the district’s latest TEA door and intruder audit to the board and said the program’s checks continue through the year.
Mitchell told trustees that on Feb. 5 the district conducted interior intruder detection and exterior-door audits at one campus as part of the TEA program and that there were no findings at that campus for the phases audited. He said the district remains "100% effective" for campuses audited to date and that two campuses are still scheduled to be audited.
Trustees asked no additional substantive questions during the brief report and Mitchell closed the report by asking for any questions from the board before moving on to the next agenda item.
