Farmington planning commission elects officers, assigns members to regional committees

At its Feb. 11 meeting the Farmington City Planning Commission re-elected its chair, named a vice chair, approved committee assignments and approved the Jan. 14 minutes.
At its Feb. 11, 2025 organizational meeting, the Farmington City Planning Commission completed its annual officer elections and committee assignments.
Chair Roddy was nominated and accepted the nomination for chair. Commissioner Teske was nominated and accepted the nomination for vice chair. After commissioners reviewed committee assignments, the commission moved, seconded and approved the assignments by roll call. The roll call recorded Commissioners Quin Shadow, Teske, Roddy, Snowbeck and Berg voting yes to assign commissioners to the Empire Farmington Planning Advisory Committee, the Castle Rock Discussion Group, the Eureka Planning Group, and the MUSA review committee (sanitary sewer extension for future growth).
The commission also approved the minutes from its Jan. 14 regular meeting by motion and voice vote. The meeting adjourned after staff and commissioners completed agenda business. No contested elections or dissenting votes were recorded in the meeting transcript.
