Board recognizes Regeneron scholars and Village School award winners

South High and North High science-research staff and advisors were acknowledged for their mentorship of semifinalists and finalists.
Village School principal Steve Goldberg and staff presented five board awards to Village School students: academic achievement (Lily Case), rookie of the year (Nava Yousaflage), most improved (Joe Riley), quintessential Village School student (Zey Sells) and community service (Austin Bruno). Two recipients were noted as unable to attend due to illness.
Superintendent Dr. Bossert and board members congratulated students and staff for their achievements, and the board committed to publicly celebrating future successes at upcoming meetings.
