Town staff asked the council to accept transfer of ownership and associated performance and maintenance bonds for two subsections—Section 2A and Section 2C—of the Sawyer Walk planned-unit development (PUD). The council approved the transfers and accepted the listed bonds and transfer documents.
Staff presented separate bond sets for each subsection and read bond numbers on the record. The council approved motions to accept bond number 30236957 (streets), 30237240 (curbs) and a series of other bond numbers covering water, sidewalks, monumentation, street signs, erosion control, sanitary sewer and storm sewer for the two subsections. The council then voted to release a related set of 32 performance bonds tied to right-of-way and utility appurtenance permits dating from 2017 through 2023 under a separate resolution (Resolution 2025-01) to allow staff to close out older permits and clear items from town records.
A council member moved and the motion passed by voice/hand vote. The council did not record individual roll-call votes in the transcript. Staff will complete transfer paperwork and arrange to release and close the identified permits and bonds consistent with town code.
