Board approves summer facility repair projects and booster concession‑stand work with insurance and structural conditions

Facility staff told the board that principals, building administrators and facility staff reviewed a list of potential projects for summer 2025 and identified repair items and materials to forward for board approval. The facility committee had voted 3–0 to recommend the items to the full board. The board approved the motion by voice vote.
Separately, the board approved a request from the baseball booster club to add a concession window at the baseball facility; the approval is contingent on two items the committee required: proof of insurance for tradespeople performing the work and confirmation the building is structurally safe to support the requested modification. Facility staff said the booster club would supply required paperwork and that the project would be at no cost to the district. The facility committee recommended approval 3–0; the board approved by voice vote.
Board members were told the district will provide clearer labeling on future requests (for example, whether a request is a repair item or part of the long-range facilities plan) when bringing projects forward.
