TEMPLETON, Mass. — Commission staff reported progress Feb. 10 on enforcement and site remediation at the Car Works property: applicants told the building inspector they will complete asphalt removal by the end of April and will submit as-built plans to the commission after completion.
If the as-built plans match the approved originals, staff said the commission would consider lifting its enforcement order and issuing a Certificate of Compliance. The building inspector will separately determine whether an occupancy permit can be granted once required work and inspections are complete.
Staff said the applicants set the timeline in coordination with the building inspector. The commission expressed hope the matter would return to a future agenda, possibly at the March or April meeting, if as-built plans and filings are ready sooner.
No formal enforcement vote or settlement was recorded at the meeting; the commission recorded the timeline and directed staff to track completion and schedule any required follow-up inspections.
