Public health director reports progress on community health assessment and awaits crisis-diversion grant task order

Ruby Taylor, Broadwater County director of public health, told the board on Jan. 27 that the department has completed data collection for its community health assessment (CHA) and will meet with state staff to decide next steps.
"I'm still working on my CHA, which is the community health assessment, which I have the data for, and I'm gonna go over it with Megan Gillespie this week," Taylor said. She said if the CHA is sufficient the department will move into a community health improvement plan (CHIP) process.
