The Saint Charles City Development Committee on Feb. 10 approved a minor change to the Carriage Oaks planned unit development at 1500 South Fourteenth Street that will replace a prefabricated entry canopy with a permanent canopy, add a monument sign and reconstruct landscaping.
City staff told the committee the proposed exterior changes comply with the Carriage Oaks PUD and the underlying zoning ordinance and recommended approval. A motion to approve carried on a roll call during the meeting.
The committee did not record additional debate on the item in the meeting transcript beyond clarifying the proposal and the staff recommendation. Staff noted the changes are limited to the property’s entrance and landscape treatment and do not alter the use or expand building area.
