Votes at a glance: consent agenda, postponed public hearings and other actions from Blacksburg council meeting

At its meeting, the Blacksburg Town Council recorded several procedural and substantive votes:

- Consent agenda: The council approved the consent agenda (minutes for January 14, CUP request to permit lighting at a public park or field at 2100 Toms Creek Road, and scheduling ordinances). The clerk called the roll and the motion passed by recorded ayes.

- Ordinance scheduling: The council also scheduled Ordinance 20 70 (amendment to subdivision ordinance sections pertaining to sanitary sewer construction and design) and Ordinance 20 71 (amend town code to lower speed limits on certain town streets) for the March 11 meeting as part of the consent agenda process.
