Panama City planning board continues Item 6A to March 10 to allow more applicant information

The Panama City Planning Board on Feb. 10 voted 5-0 to continue Item 6A to its March 10 meeting so staff and the applicant can finish an as‑built survey and related documentation.
Staff said additional information from the applicant is required “in order for us to finalize our staff recommendation in our report,” and that planners have been in contact with the applicant and need extra time to “square everything away.”
The motion to table was made and seconded; the board then took a roll call and the motion passed unanimously. The board followed its quasi-judicial procedure before the action, including swearing in potential witnesses and noting ex parte communications.
No substantive public comment opposing the continuance was recorded during the item.
The continuance preserves staff’s ability to include the as‑built survey in its report and recommendation when the board next considers the matter on March 10.
