Rossford Council unanimously approves dispatch contract amendment, equipment agreement, ODOT grant LPA and Maryland Drive project

Rossford City Council on Feb. 10 approved several ordinances and contract actions covering dispatching services, fire-equipment maintenance, a grant-related LPA agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation, and a street/drainage project on Maryland Drive.

Ordinance 2025-04 amends the contract with the Wood County Sheriff's Office for dispatching services. Council members read the ordinance by title, moved to suspend additional readings and voted to adopt the ordinance the same evening; the roll call shows recorded “aye” votes from council members during the meeting.

The council also considered Ordinance 2025-07 to add years two through eight of an existing agreement with Stryker for replacement and preventive maintenance of aging fire equipment.
