City crisis teams report 204 victims, 657 PIC calls in January; coalition pushes shared‑data effort

City crisis‑response staff told the Rock Against Gun Violence Coalition on Tuesday they provided services to hundreds of people in January and urged better data sharing among partner organizations.
"Our community support team provided service and assistance to a total of 204 victims" in January, said Aliyah Hinton Williams, who identified herself as a member of Rochester City's Crisis Intervention Services unit. Hinton Williams said the unit's homicide response team provided services to five homicide victims during January.
