During the Feb. 11 meeting the Senate Committee on Human Services opened a brief work session and introduced two legislative concepts as committee measures for the 2025 legislative session. Senator Nash moved to introduce LC4022 (dated 02/10/2025) and LC4289 (dated 02/06/2025). Chair Gelser Bluhin called for objections and, seeing none, ordered them introduced as committee measures by unanimous consent. The work session was then closed.
No further details about the legislative concepts were presented at that time; the chair later noted it was unclear whether the concepts would return as bills during the session.
