Board hears introduction of incoming Fox Valley Career Center director Bob Ghosh

Superintendent Doctor Atkins (introducing) said the district’s search began in late fall with about 16 applicants, narrowed to six for screening and three for group interviews; the final interview panel included Doctor Rolling and district leaders. He said Ghosh brings about 15 years in education, including seven years as a principal and degrees from Western Illinois University.
Ghosh introduced his family and told the board he has a “deep passion” for career and technical education and plans to bring “innovation” to the Fox Valley Career Center and “opportunities that just aren't always the norm in the high school.” The board and superintendent welcomed Ghosh and said they look forward to his work leading the center.
No formal board action was taken during the introduction; it was presented as a personnel transition and welcome.
