Green said INDOT plans to redesign stretches of north-side I‑465 to increase capacity and safety, and that work is expected to start in “probably the next 3, 4 months.” He told the board the project will include new lanes on the north side and specific changes at the 106th Street exit: “The difference is gonna be the Hundred And Sixth Street. What they're looking at is carving out the individuals who wanna go to 96 And A Hundred And Sixth Street. There'll be a separate lane, and those individuals will have to go to a stoplight.”
