The planning commission on Feb. — gave preliminary plan approval to Specialty Lubricants for an expansion of its manufacturing and distribution facility, subject to standard staff conditions and several items to be completed before final plan approval.
Company president Steven Pajansky and architect Jet Sorbo told the commission the project proposes an approximately 49,000-square-foot addition to an existing 67,000-square-foot building, adding two loading docks, a dock door serving a trash compactor and an outdoor pallet storage area. The applicant said the outdoor pallet area responds in part to a fire department preference to reduce indoor pallet storage.
