City staff recommended advancing O-25-01 to second reading.
Ordinance O-25-02 is a companion ordinance to O-25-01 and would assign a Commercial‑Highway (C‑3) zoning district to the same annexed parcel. Staff recommended advancing O-25-02 to second reading.
Ordinance O-25-08 is a first reading annexation ordinance for ARC Industries Inc. asking to annex a contiguous parcel totaling 32.39 acres (general location 807 Snively Avenue). Staff said the purpose is to obtain city utilities for future development; the petitioner also owns an adjacent parcel already inside the city limits. Current taxable value of the property was stated as approximately $55,809. Staff recommended advancing O-25-08 to second reading.
Ordinance O-25-09 is a first reading budget amendment to appropriate an unbudgeted $200,000 Trail‑Go grant from the Office of Greenways and Trails to the general fund and the Parks and Grounds cost center; staff recommended advancing O-25-09 to second reading.
Ordinance O-25-10 is a first reading to adopt an updated official municipal seal that mirrors the original 1911 seal with the addition of the incorporated year. The city clerk's office recommended advancing the ordinance to second reading.
