Representative Patzkalski announced the change, saying the rules committee would meet “at 01:45 in Room 206.” Representative Roberts confirmed the General Government Committee would meet at 10:30 a.m. in Room 206 and said that committee “is meeting on time and not delayed.” Representative Dobrzynski reminded members that the Utilities Committee would meet at 3 p.m.; the presiding member described the agenda as short.
The floor also included introductions of visitors. Representative Lawson identified nursing students from Central Tech in Creek County and members of the Parent Child Center of Tulsa, naming Rick Grundman, board chair; Matt Kane; and Melanie Anderegg, CEO. Lawson asked the chamber to “please join me in welcoming them to the House.” Representative LePak pointed out attendees with the Convention of States Project, identifying director Mark Meckler among the group. Representative Branson announced the Women’s Caucus would meet for a bipartisan lunch at noon in Room 4S9 and said the group planned to discuss menopause.
Other scheduling notices included Representative Kendricks’ reminder that administrative rules would start at 1:30 p.m., and Representative Littrell’s announcement about the Native American Caucus meeting the next day with an 11:30 a.m. lunch start. Representative Miller offered a brief personal remark and reiterated the Women’s Caucus lunch invitation.
The House adopted a motion to adjourn until Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 1:30 p.m. “Without objection, that will be the order,” the presiding officer said, and the House stood adjourned.
The announcements affect the timing and location of several committee meetings that may consider legislation or administrative rules; the adjournment schedules the next full floor session for Feb. 12, 2025.
