The Poudre School District R-1 Board of Education on Jan. 28 unanimously approved a resolution recognizing Career and Technical Education Month after hearing teachers and students describe new programs at the Career Tech Center.
Kelsey Berger, the district’s career and technical education coordinator, told the board she oversees 15 CTE pathways across PSD and highlighted two new programs at the Career Tech Center: automotive technology and medical assisting. “These programs launch with overwhelming interest and already have wait lists,” Berger said.
