Fiscal questions reviewed included how to treat the 5 percent evaluation requirement in statute. The sheriff’s office proposed an adjustment to its request to reflect 50 percent of total estimated revenue rather than just base realignment revenue; that change was discussed but not finalized at this meeting.
The CCP also agreed to allow more time for members to review the budget roll‑up and to reconvene next Thursday at 11 a.m. for a short meeting to consider final approvals.
