Joe Mueller, a former councilmember who said he helped gather support from the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce and Visit Dana Point, described the plan as "DanaPoint for DanaPoint," an annual legacy event targeted for Veterans Day weekend and intended to give a portion of ticket revenue back to the city for facilities such as the community or senior center. "We're focused on using Dana Point performers if we can," Mueller said.
