Moorhead highlights $58 million in commercial construction, 1,400 permits in 2024 development report

Kristi Lushevsky, the city staff member who presented the report, told the Moorhead City Council on Feb. 10 that 2024 was a banner year for development in Moorhead.
"2024 marked historic milestones for Moorhead," Lushevsky said. She said the city issued more than 1,400 building permits and recorded a new commercial construction valuation topping $58,000,000, and that construction began on two major downtown redevelopment projects: the Loop Moorhead Library and the 650 Center Avenue mixed-use project.
