The Gardner Conservation Commission voted to authorize a $600 signature to cover registration for up to four commission members to attend a March 1 MACC training seminar.
Commission members moved and seconded the measure and approved it in a roll-call vote. Commissioners recorded in the roll call as voting yes included Duncan Burke; David Orrick; Corinne Smith; Brian Smith; David Diergaard; David Beauregard; and Tim (speaker identified by first name). The motion authorized staff to issue a check so registered attendees could be finalized within the week.
Commission staff asked members who planned to attend to message the commission’s coordinator to indicate which classes they prefer, to avoid duplicating course selections among attendees. Commissioners discussed signing up promptly so staff could meet registration timelines.
