District outlines small federal grant reallocations; no new money proposed

Jeff Taylor presented a first reading of small federal budget amendments, saying the changes are reallocations of existing grant funds and a $13,500 decrease in consolidated administrative grant revenue.
“We just have some small amount amendments on our grama, the consolidated admin grant is a decrease in revenues of 13,500,” Jeff Taylor said, adding the other adjustments move existing funds to appropriate expenditure lines across the CTE Perkins grant, IDEA partnership K–12, IDEA Part B and pre-K grants. “No new money. We're just moving these lines monies to the appropriate line items for the expenditures that we expect to incur.”
Taylor closed the presentation by asking if the board had questions; none were recorded. The amendments were presented for board review and will return for later action consistent with the district’s budget process.
