Special Magistrate Don Win ordered MBABJB Holdings Family LP to contact Community Development to renew the business tax receipt and to pay the required occupancy inspection fee for 2825 Garden Street Unit 2 by March 10, 2025.
City staff said the business’s annual registration had expired and that the occupancy inspection fee had not been paid following an annual fire inspection and other follow-ups. Staff told the magistrate the owner or owner’s representative had indicated an intent to renew but had not yet applied as of a recent check.
The magistrate accepted documentary evidence, assessed administrative costs of $163.75, and ordered correction by March 10, 2025. The magistrate said that if the owner fails to renew and pay the fee by that date, a fine of $50 per day per violation will be entered until the violations are corrected. The magistrate instructed the respondent to notify code enforcement upon completion so staff can confirm compliance and close the file.
