Developers tell Decatur Board of Works eight Cross Creek lots will join regional sewer district

Board members asked the developers to include a statement in the subdivision covenants (and suggested including deed language) to make future homeowners aware that sewer service for those eight lots will come from the regional sewer district while the city will continue to provide water, stormwater, trash and other services.
No formal vote was taken; the presentation was an update ahead of planning commission and city council consideration scheduled for Feb. 18 (planning commission) and later that evening before council, according to developers and staff.
