Key district summary points: - Ridgeview Elementary: A first‑year TIP produced large gains, with the campus’ closing‑the‑gaps domain score rising from 30 to 76 (district presented data showing improvements in 18 of 19 domain areas); the district reported Ridgeview’s status as "comprehensive progress." The campus is partnering with a vetted improvement partner and using grant funds to support implementation.
- Wood Middle School: After two years on its TIP, Wood’s domain score rose from 34 to 71, with substantial reading improvements and continued focus on math; the district said Wood is also in a “comprehensive progress” support category.
- Delview Elementary: Newly identified for CSI, Delview’s plan centers on data‑driven instruction, PLCs, diagnostic assessments and an intervention program (i‑Ready) to provide differentiated groupings and four intervention sessions per week. Delview received an additional targeted support teacher from district allocation.
District staff underscored that CSI campuses may be eligible to exit identification if they rank outside the bottom 5% and raise their domain scores above the identification baseline for two consecutive years. Ridgeview and Wood both showed strong first‑year results, while Delview’s plan will be implemented in 2024–25 with closer monitoring.
Trustees approved the three plans by voice vote, 7–0.
