Votes at a glance: Alpharetta council approves budget reading, UDC amendment, vehicle upfitting contract, concert MOU and multiple eminent domain resolutions

- RFP 25-109 — public safety vehicle upfitting: Council awarded RFP 25-109 to Dana Safety Supply Inc. and ProLogic ITS LLC for public safety vehicle upfitting and authorized the mayor to execute documents. The contract term discussed was five years; the dollar figure shown in backup is an estimated annual upfitting amount based on fleet replacement and not an immediate expenditure. Motion carried unanimously.

- Memorandum of Understanding — Home by Dark (summer concert series at Brook Street Park): Council approved the MOU authorizing the Home by Dark series (six dates April–September) and authorized the mayor to execute documents. Council amended the contract to remove a reference to the name “Troubadours at Twilight” on the contract cover page (the motion was restated to omit that reference). Motion passed unanimously.

- Eminent domain resolutions — Old Milton Parkway improvements (multiple parcels): Council adopted a string of resolutions authorizing the use of eminent domain to acquire property interests needed for the Old Milton Parkway improvement project. Council recorded unanimous votes on each resolution. Staff noted a publication error in one staff report that had listed an incorrect amount for Parcel 21; the correct figure is $79,300.
