Council appoints two volunteers to Keep Woodland Park Beautiful committee

The Woodland Park City Council unanimously appointed Sheila Jimenez of Woodland Park and Terry Vaughn of Florissant to the Keep Woodland Park Beautiful committee on Feb. 6.
Both applicants spoke briefly about their backgrounds and interest in volunteering. Jimenez said she moved to Woodland Park three years ago and wants to get involved with the community; Vaughn said he works locally as a site manager and described his employer’s interest in community support. Council liaison remarks thanked both applicants for volunteering. The motion to approve both appointments carried unanimously and the clerk administered the oath of office.
Council members noted there is no cap on committee membership and identified Kristen as the staff liaison to the committee.
