Council members said the Planning Commission had asked appropriate questions and staff reported that a March work session with the commission will address permitting and enforcement practices so property owners and contractors better understand requirements.
The council discussed the length of time since the issue was first discovered (council members said it had been under review for about two years) and expressed support for not imposing removal costs on current owners. The resolution approving the revised final plan and associated findings was adopted by voice vote and recorded as unanimously approved by members present.
