The Lexington County Planning Commission completed routine administrative business at the meeting, re-electing officers for 2025 and approving procedural items.
Commissioners nominated and elected Tara Jordan to remain as chairwoman and Tracy Mitchell to remain as vice chairwoman. The commission also nominated and approved a secretary (mister Leger was nominated and seconded). The minutes from the previous meeting were moved, seconded and approved unanimously.
Staff presented an informational item on subdivision bonds and the commission accepted it for information. The commission also voted to approve road classifications on the agenda; the motion carried with recorded yes votes from commissioners present.
Staff also reminded commissioners about required training offered by the South Carolina Association of Counties and noted planned discussion of questionnaire and impact-fee materials at the county council retreat. The meeting then adjourned.
